From an e-mail I just received, a great quote--

""Back in 2000 a Republican friend warned me that if I voted for Al Gore and he won, the stock market would tank, we'd lose millions of jobs, and our military would be totally overstretched. You know what? I did vote for Gore, he did win, and I'll be damned if all those things didn't come true!" - James Carville"

BTW---a couple of random thoughts I've been holding on to...

What the hell is it with DEATH in a frickin' kids movie? I went to see A Shark Tale with our neighbor boy. A key moment in the movie is a shark getting nailed by an anchor and dying! Wow. No wonder every generation is a little more fucked up than the last...

Speaking of that movie, if you are a fan of animation, look forward to some interesting things coming out within this next year or so. It seems to be hot right now! Oddly enough, I wouldn't mind takin' the kid to see the Spongebob movie. At least no one DIES.. I'm pretty sure. Patrick probably gets a pretty mean wedgie, though.
